University Committees

Bodies that safeguard scientific integrity and social welfare for the university community.

The University of Continuing Education relies on a set of committees that frame institutional life and support its staff — from safeguarding scientific integrity and ethics to social welfare and housing.

Ethics and Deontology Committee

Scientific integrity and ethics

Established by ministerial order No. 991 of 10 December 2020 creating ethics and deontology committees in higher-education and scientific-research institutions. The committee works to embed the values of scientific integrity and respect for the code of ethics within the university.

  • Overseeing the application of the code of ethics and the committee's internal rules
  • Strengthening scientific integrity and combating plagiarism
  • Advising on matters of professional ethics

Social Services Committee

Social support for staff

The social services committee provides a range of benefits, aids and allowances for the university's staff and their families, in accordance with its internal rules and available funds.

  • Social allowances: birth, marriage, schooling, holidays, retirement and bereavement
  • Health services and partial coverage of surgical costs
  • Social loans for housing and installment purchases
  • Umrah, tourism, and sports and cultural activities

Housing Committee

Subsidized promotional housing programme

The housing committee follows the subsidized promotional housing programme (LPA) for the higher-education and scientific-research sector, and publishes the ranking lists of housing applicants.

  • Tracking applications for subsidized promotional housing (LPA)
  • Publishing the preliminary ranking of applicants
  • Coordinating with the relevant sector authorities
